The beacon light has a 2-pin connector that must connect to the main harness. The main harness connection will run from the ECU along the inside of the vehicle out to an external part of the vehicle to the beacon light.
The Install Guide details the relevant mounting and connections in sections 3.2.8 and 3.3.8.
