System Confirmation Test - Anti-Rollaway Kalmar Ottawa T2

Modified on Fri, 27 Feb at 2:17 PM

Below is the System Confirmation Test for Anti-Rollaway Brake System with an LCD Screen for Kalmar Ottawa T2 vehicles with Seatbelt monitoring.

This series of functional tests is to be used to test the installation of a MAX-SAFE Anti-Rollaway Brake System™. The system has a range of different installation variations. This series of tests is for installations of a MAX-SAFE Anti-Rollaway Brake System™ with an LCD Screen. Follow the instructions below, using the supplied images of the LCD Screen as reference, to test the functional capacity of the MAX-SAFE Anti-Rollaway Brake System™.

Note: This system utilises a seat sensor and a seatbelt buckle switch. The correct operation of the system is to be seated first, then pass the buckle around the body and clip buckle into clasp. This System Confirmation Test is written for the above sequencing of seat and belt buckle clasp. (There are software algorithms in place if seat/belt sequencing is not adhered to during normal vehicle operation. The system behaviour for a non-sequenced operator is not part of the following Systems Confirmation Test).

If any of the tests fail, contact management immediately and the vehicle must not go into service
