A cord protector is not a standard part of a MAX-SAFE kit’s provided components. Its use, or something similar, is recommended as a means to fix in place and protect seatbelt and buckle harness leads so that they are not affected by the movement of the seat or other interference which may cause the fittings to disconnect.
