Below is the Fault Determination Guide for Anti-Rollaway Brake System with an LCD Screen for Kalmar Ottawa T2 vehicles with Seatbelt monitoring.

Before attempting any repairs or diagnosis on a MAX-SAFE Anti-Rollaway Brake System™, ensure the following:

• The vehicle brake system, particularly the park brake system, is in working order and maintained as per the manufacturer’s specifications. Ensure that the OEM park brake lever is in the applied position.
• The vehicle is in a safe place to work on, and the wheels are chocked.
• The batteries are fully charged, and the vehicle and system’s earth points are secure on the chassis, cabin, and engine.
• The LCD screen is powered up and showing images/logo.

It is also recommended that before attempting any repairs of the system, that all visible and accessible portions of the wiring harness, especially all wiring external to the vehicle cabin, are visually inspected for any rubbing, pinching, or wear and tear. Inspect all external wiring terminations and connectors and ensure that all are connected properly and securely.
